So, if you saw Sex and the City 2 then you saw this ridiculously beautiful rock that Big gave Carrie in the movie. Why a black diamond? “Because you’re not like anyone else,” he tells Carrie. *swoon* Now, I don’t think I’ve never figured out what Big does for a living, but the ring is a cool $10,000. Whatever he’s doing, he’s doing all right. This piece is absolutely stunning and available on Patricia Field’s website.

So, yesterday was the big day – the NYC premiere of Sex and the City 2. The four stars – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Catrall, Kristin Davis & Cynthia Nixon – came out dressed to the nines. For me, this movie officially means it’s summer especially with my birthday and Memorial right around the corner. SJP looked like a summer dream in VALENTINO – who was also there for the premiere. It was a pretty big deal. Since I was here in Atlanta, in spirit I was frolicking and the red carpet with the Fab Four in designer threads as well.

So, the new Sex and the City 2 poster was released not too long ago. If you remember, the first one featured Sarah Jessica Parker in a WHITE HALSTON HERITAGE DRESS and gold MYKITA & BERNHARD FRANZ LIMITED EDITION GLASSES. In the new poster, SJP is rockin’ EMILIO PUCCI FALL/WINTER 2009 showing beaucoup leg. Naturally, it’s over the top and in true Mattie fashion I LOVE IT!!!

SJP at the Warner Bros. ShoWest Presentation

It’s almost that time. Sex and the City 2 will be with us very soon. But while we wait we can still enjoy Sarah Jessica Parker’s wardrobe. The star wore a beautiful yellow Lanvin number at Warner Bros. ShoWest Presentation in Vegas last week. I can dig it. They nude pump? A shoe staple for the spring. Take note, ladies. (more…)

Oh, call me biased but you know Sarah Jessica Parker can do no wrong in my eyes! (Was I the only one who enjoyed her Oscar look this year? It was Chanel…) I do like this look. I feel like everyone is still hiding in black in NYC while she busted out the white blazer and lace dress. I love the hair down and beaucoup necklaces. It works for me.

The bag? Eh. But I’m not going to hold it against her.

The Sex & the City 2 trailer hit the web today. The poster, which was released last week, totally captures the feel of the trailer and perhaps the movie. The trailer is very vague but it includes NYC, the ladies in Morocco and the song, ‘Empire State of Mind’ by Jay-Z and Alicia Keys.
