The star has really been making a statement on the red carpet for the last few months. Actress Freida Pinto looked radiant in her one shoulder Kelly green OSCAR DE LA RENTA RESORT 2011 dress. This is such a great color for summer. That’s what the season is all about. Great silhouettes and bold color. The brighter the better. Her black accessories really made the color stand out and I appreciate her hair being pulled up. Gold earrings? Perfection. Just the right amount of contrast.

The Hollywood premiere of The Karate Kid was earlier this week starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. Jaden’s family, including his uber chic mother Jada Pinkett Smith, all came out to support. Christina Aguilera

The 2010 MTV Movie Awards were last night in Los Angeles. There was a lot of unnecessary cussing, obvious inappropriateness and a lack of performances. But aside from that, some people showed up looking cute. That’s where I come in. Above, Christina dons a black feathered frock which I liked. Many are saying she’s biting Lady Gaga’s style but I don’t think that’s the case. I just believe she’s someone else who’s blonde, sings and likes wearing one pieces. She looks great! (more…)

At the UK premiere of Sex and the City 2, Sarah Jessica Parker paid homage to fashion designer ALEXANDER McQUEEN. Absolutely. This is why I love fashion. So, yesterday was the big day – the NYC premiere of Sex and the City 2. The four stars – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Catrall, Kristin Davis & Cynthia Nixon – came out dressed to the nines. For me, this movie officially means it’s summer especially with my birthday and Memorial right around the corner. SJP looked like a summer dream in VALENTINO – who was also there for the premiere. It was a pretty big deal. Since I was here in Atlanta, in spirit I was frolicking and the red carpet with the Fab Four in designer threads as well.

Ciara hit the red carpet at the 11th annual Maxim Hot 100 Party last night looking like summer in white. She was all legs…in some FANTASTIC shoes. Not sure who they’re by but they’re not a game. Loving Mary J. Blige in this gold! She looks good. Her accessories are perfection (that cuff is to die for) and this silhouette on her body is dynamic. Here’s the thing about a gold dress: It can make or break you. A gold that’s too yellow is NEVER a good look. It can unflatter your complexion and quite frankly it looks cheap. So, Gemma Arterton is the look of the day, again. I’m not sure who this girl’s stylist is but they are putting in work. The beautiful actress wore an ELIE SAAB SPRING 2010 dress with minimal accessories and clean make-up. The one bejeweled shoulder is a great look especially when it’s balanced with simplicity.
