TV personality Lala Vazquez and NBA star Carmelo Anthony tied the knot this past weekend at the Cipriani in NYC. Lala wore a stunning Vera Wang wedding gown paired with a beautiful bouquet of red roses. Very classic. Carmelo wasn’t looking too bad himself. Some of Lala’s closest friends and celebrities – Ciara, Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams and Kim Kardashian – all attended highly anticipated event. Not too many details on the wedding but I’m sure we’ll soon find out on Lala’s 5 part VH1 wedding special come September 19. (Which happens to be my wedding anniversary!) Singer Kelis was featured at the Elle Women in Music event in NYC last night. The eclectic star was one of the many who came out to celebrate music’s stylish stars. Elle EIC Robbie Myers made an appearance along with The City stars Whitney Port and Olivia Palermo, Roc Nation’s Alexis Jordan, Baby Boy’s Cassie and VH1 Basketball Wives reality star Jennifer Williams. Willow & Jada Pinkett Smith

The Hollywood premiere of The Karate Kid was earlier this week starring Jaden Smith and Jackie Chan. Jaden’s family, including his uber chic mother Jada Pinkett Smith, all came out to support. The A-Team star, Jessica Biel, was out and about in NYC earlier this week. The actress made an appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman looking rather chic. In a powder blue flowy blouse and some gray dress pants, this look was a WIN. The 2010 MTV Movie Awards were last night in Los Angeles. There was a lot of unnecessary cussing, obvious inappropriateness and a lack of performances. But aside from that, some people showed up looking cute. That’s where I come in. Above, Christina dons a black feathered frock which I liked. Many are saying she’s biting Lady Gaga’s style but I don’t think that’s the case. I just believe she’s someone else who’s blonde, sings and likes wearing one pieces. She looks great! (more…)

So, Angela Simmons was out and about the other day saluting the troops looking fan-DAMN-tastic. This hair? This make-up? And that gold corset/bustier number? ABSOLUTELY! I’m not sure who designed the top. Looks like something THE BLONDS would whip up. Or maybe if we’re lucky it’s something in the Pastry clothing collection that’s supposed to be launched in the near future. Regardless, she looks great. She paired her stand out with leather leggings and thigh high suede boots. I loved the look, I’m just not sure if it was season appropriate. (She would have passed out here in Atlanta.)
