Remember a few weeks ago when I tweeted and went Instagram crazy during my trip to NYC? Well, I can finally spill the beans.

Cotton (yes, yes. The Fabric Of Our Lives…) is having a 24 Hour Fashion Runway Show in Miami come March and they’re focusing on America’s Style. Essentially they’re trying to find out who has the best style in the nation. They’ve split up the county in various regions – Northeast, Southeast, South, Midwest, Northwest & West – and are scouring the country looking for cotton style. 8 finalists will be selected in every region (announced January 8) and then America will vote for the regional winners. The competition starts this week! Each regional winner gets an awesome prize that includes a fabulous trip to Miami and $2500.

In each region, there’s a fashion influencer who will help pick finalists and keep the public in the loop. I’m elated announce to that I am the Fashion Influencer for the Southeast. I’m pumped to showcase our region’s style because it’s feminine (we wear our Sunday dress to church and the football game), but it’s still interestingly modern and unapologetically bold.

The other Fashion Influencers include Jules for the West, Carly for the Midwest, Keiko for the Northeast, Lisa for the Northwest and Katy for the South. I had so much fun with these ladies and the Cotton team when I was in NYC.

So, now you should represent the Southeast (or wherever you’re from) and head on over to the Cotton site to upload your picture and find out when the Cotton crew is going to be in your neck of the woods for submissions.

Come March, I’m heading to Miami for the big show where there will be a model a minute. Yeah. That’s what I said. A model every minute. That’s 1,440 looks.

I kind of just threw the above outfit on and it worked. I have yet to rock my I love NY t-shirt and it not work. Oh, yeah. I’m wearing head to toe cotton. Coincidentally. Yep, the blazer too. Anyways, head to the Cotton site and check out the looks. Or enter yourself. I’ll be making sure the Southeast holds it down. Just saying.

Be sure to follow my friends from Cotton at @cottonfashion and use the hashtag #cotton24hours on Twitter and Instagram!
