As you all probably know by now summer weather has totally stuffed winter into a locker and is apparently about to steal spring’s lunch money.
That’s fine by me if I can keep dressing like this everyday – even to work. For whatever reason, I’ve been wearing a lot of pieces Mom has given these past few days. See: the dress above. She scored this when she visited NYC for the first time last year. It’s a no name dress she got on Canal St. But wait for it… IT WAS $20.
But that’s not where it ends folks. Last weekend, I took a peak in my local TJ Maxx – still had my $25 gift card from the IFB conference – and scored some patent leather Steve Madden pumps for $39! With my gift card…yep, that’s right, it came to $15. Oh, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for your jaw to drop.
After all the funds I saved, I’ll be drinking $5 coffee to get me through the week. It seems only right.
I love this dress!!! I am a fan of anything floral to begin with but it just helps that it is so colorful!!! Perfect piece to welcome in this hot weather!!!
