Mattie Muse: Easy, Breezy

This time of year is always funny because you have to find those transitional pieces. You know, the type of pieces that make sense in the winter but accommodate the freakishly warm weather that’s happening as spring arrives. Of course, there are some days that are so nice that you just have to dress for the weather that’s going on right then and there.

TOP: thrifted (similar)| JEANS: Knowstyle – 2 years old (similar) | SHOES: MICHAEL Michael Kors ‘Rock N Roll Berkeley’ sandal | SUNNIES: Ray Ban Foldable Wayfarers (c/o Sunglass Hut) | WATCH: Target | RING: YSL Arty Ovale Ring

Case in point, my above ensemble. At the end of February I am wearing a sheer white top with skinny jeans and open toe shoes. HOW. DOES. THIS. MAKE. SENSE? But when it’s 75 degrees in the winter, I just don’t know what else you want from me.

I politely stole borrowed this thrifted top from the bestie because I’m absolutely in love with it. I love how it drapes in the back and how sheer it is without it being completely see through. Just for kicks, I wore a lace bra underneath. A fab contrast.

It was so breezy when I was out there but it worked wonders for my hair and shirt. Because it was so gorgeous outside, I thought it was only right to break out my new MICHAEL Michael Kors ‘Rock N Roll Berkeley’ sandals. With red lips and wayfarers, it was the perfect outfit for the perfect day.
