Mattie Memo: The ZARA Spring 2012 Lookbook Post

It’s that time of year again. When ZARA shows off their latest collection in a beautifully photographed lookbook that makes us want to give them our money over and over again.

For their Spring 2012 lookbook, ZARA featured model Saskia de Brauw – giving us “insanely gorge androgynous” with this choppy hair and neutral skin – in pieces that screamed trends without being overly trendy like some of their competitors. Lots of prints and tailored separates are featured in the lookbook along with contrasting minimalist pieces in white and springy pastels. And if that weren’t enough, they also include some high slits in skirts.

The nerve.

With fashion week just around the corner, it’s inevitable one or two of these pieces end up on NYC street blogs consistently throughout next week.
