So, here in Atlanta, we’ve gotten some rain. I know we need it, but I don’t like it. I mean maybe the first two days it’s fine, but anything after that becomes gloom central. And that’s totally not my style. To brighten up my day while I ran some errands, I busted out my floral BB Dakota dress (that I wore as a skirt) which automatically conquers the world. Sure, my outfit got a bit spring-y but it was so needed. And if you ask me, flowers are totally approps for any season. Just switch it up a little. I rocked my oxfords and a messenger bag to give it more of a prep feel. Three months ago I would have tossed on a headband with a bow and glittery pumps. (Yep. I’m that kinda girl.) Here, I get a totally different feel. It’s amazing what a men’s shirt and cardigan can do. At the end of day, when it came to the weather’s gloom versus my outfit’s bloom…my outfit totally kicked butt. Mu-ha-ha-ha.
Cute as always! I love to turn a dress into a skirt and you’re inspiring me to get back into button down shirts. I haven’t bought one in about 2 years because my guns (ha ha) had gotten too big for the size shirt I wear and they were too tight around my biceps. Now, I think I want to hunt for a button down that will work.
You’re so cute, it’s almost annoying! Annoying, why? Because I try to achieve the button down with cardigan look all the time and FAIL. Love it. Love YOU!
