Mattie Melt: Best Dressed | Weekend of January 21, 2011

Between visits to London, movie premieres, Sundance activities and just being out and about in LA, this weekend the stars looked fabulous when doing any of that. Mandy Moore looked adorable at the UK premiere of Tangled in some droolworthy Charlotte Olympia Paloma Pumps. But she wasn’t the only one in the UK with a great shoe game. The usually outrageous Nicki Minaj kept it chic (and still outrageous with her hair) in some enviable Giuseepe Zanotti Python Slingback sandals. Well done, Barbz. And for those of you who truly appreciate very high end fashion, you’ll be pleased by director Sofia Coppola and her Louis Vuitton Pre-Fall 2011 fur dress that turned heads at the Somewhere premiere. And if that’s not enough, Eva Longoria is effortlessly stylish while leaving her restaurant (I need that bag immediately) and Emily Blunt rocks a Spring 2011 trend early in all white and Jimmy Choo. But I think my favorite of all this weekend was the marvelous Kerry Washington who shut it down in Herve Leger Spring 2011. AMAZING. The color, the detail, the everything. And while her choice of shoe wasn’t my favorite, the dress made up for it…big time.

  1. Gosh, I didn’t really care for any of these looks. Most of all Herve Leger I really want something different. I get the bandage dresses, I loved them, the knock offs LOVED them more…I want something more!

I think Nicki Minaj (I’m ashamed to even be typing this) may have been the best dressed of them all her dress fits well its simple that jewelry is great the shoes are awesome but I am totally distracted by her hair, it almost kills the classy sexiness of her outfit.

  2. I agree. The hair throws me off. I understand she’s outrageous but for this instance I would have taken a simple blonde or even pink bob. Those shoes with that dress are marvelous though.
