Smashbox Cosmetics has created a brand new collection in collaboration with the release of the new film, Burlesque. Based on the makeup and fashion of the movie, this new series of products comes with train case (with an etched in fishnet design) and comes just in times before the premiere of the film and top of the holiday season. The pieces will be released this month and price points are fairly reasonable – the Burlesque Train Case & Beauty Collection with eight items will run you $79 while the Burlesque Beauty Collection with four items is more affordable at $35. While the makeup in the movie – starring the iconic Cher and newly divorced Christina Aguilera – steers in the heavy eyeliner and pink shades direction, Smashbox gives you the same tones you’ll see in the movie in addition to shades of lilac as well.
Sebastian Professional has also created a line of hair products to commemorate the film as well. To help celebrate the 25th anniversary of their Shaper hair spray, the company has created a $30 gift set featuring their Re-Shaper hair spray and Drench shampoo. As like the Smashbox products, Sebastian’s gift set be released throughout the country this month as well.
