With the fall being right around the corner, I plan on experimenting with my lip color and going deeper. I plan on owning the wine lip. Here are the top 6 shades I found and plan on trying out come September. You may want to give the wine lip a try yourself, so I’ve linked the list and add price points. You’re welcome.
REVLON COLORBURST LIPSTICK in Grape | $8.99
MAC LIPSTICK in Film Noir | $14.50
DIOR ADDICT LIPCOLOR in Pinstripe Plum | $26
ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR STAY-IN-PLACE LIPSTICK in Stay Cranberry | $22
CLINIQUE LONG LAST LIPSTICK in Merlot | $14
COVER GIRL QUEEN COLLECTION VIBRANT HUE COLOR in Bordeaux | $13
If it’s done right, the wine lip can look great on just about anybody. Look at some of my favorite celeb wine lip looks:
- Chanel Iman
- Jessica Biel
- Megan Fox
- Rihanna

How do you conquer the wine lip or bold lip colors in general when you thin lips, like myself? Whenever I try, I always feel like a clown or the color is just too much. I feel like I look best in only nudes and lite colors due to my lacking in the “soup coolers” dept.
That’s awesome – thank you so much!
