Lady Gaga (above in Prada) will be dressed by Armani and Prada for the rest of her 2010 tour. According to WWD:
Lady Gaga has tapped two fashion houses — Armani and Prada — to help outfit her for the overseas leg of her Monster Ball tour, which began last week in Manchester. (more…)
Jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino celebrated the launch of her new beauty line earlier this week in Hollywood. The collection became available this month, exclusively on Sephora.com. To support the designer on her new venture, celebrities from Kelly Osbourne (above), Debi Mazar, Andy Garcia, Angela and Vanessa Simmons and many others all came out. Pictures under the cut. (more…)
Before I get into the fashion part of this post, I would just like to say that Nicole Richie’s growth has been impressive. Let’s take a minute and think of the girl who was best friends with Paris Hilton. And now, this woman. Big difference. I’m glad to see she’s progressing. Good stuff.
Now, on to her new clothing line, Winter Kate. (more…)
Cold shoulder. Check. Great shoes. A good time. Look of the Day. Check. Check. Check.
I love this look. The shoes are great. And even though this is a pulled together look (with the satin and the pencil skirt) it’s still a little messy with the hair in the face at the club. It’s very NYC nightlife. And you know how I love that. It’s a good look.
You know I live for a jumpsuit and Tyra didn’t let me down last night at the “Welcome to Reality” party held by the CW. It has a retro feel to it. I love that her hair is darker than usual and pulled back. Great touch to the ensemble.
Last night I watched The September Issue and it was good. That’s it. The only thing I learned was how the process of putting together an issue at Vogue is done. And I kind of noticed how they tried to “humanize” editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, but the truth is she’s not bad. At all. I firmly believe that the woman has high expectations and set a high standard for this publication and you’ve got to be tough to do so. This is Vogue – the most reputable fashion magazine in the world.
Like I said, it was good. It truly didn’t blow me away but I enjoyed it. I’m certainly glad I RedBox’ed it instead of purchasing it.
The CW will premiere High Society starring NYC socialite Tinsley Mortimer on March 10 at 9:30pm EST. I’ve always been interested in who she was. She went to Columbia University and used to work at Vogue but I just know her from being in the right place at the right time with the right people.
Finding a mentor, someone who you admire and respect to hold you accountable professionally, is one step to becoming better. Above, is my dream mentor, Michelle Obama. (more…)
Married to the Mob and Lacoste joined forces to create the Hiromi Lace Sneaker. It comes in gold or purple and cover with a layer of lace. Naturally, the red bottom was inspired by Christian Louboutin and now you don’t HAVE to be in 6 inch heels to have red at the bottom of your shoe. I don’t usually rock sneakers but these, I can definitely do these. Leah McSweeney, the founder and visionary of MTTM, is on her GRIND. Can’t help but to respect that chick.
The limited edition sneaker is now available online and at Lacoste retail stores.
Along side with Denzel Washington and Gary Oldham, Mila Kunis (above) starred in Book of Eli, one of the best movies I’ve seen this year. It was excellent. It’s about the world after a somewhat apocalypse and a man who’s been trying to reach a destination since. He’s spiritual and resilient and some people want what he has. So they try to take it from him. Little do they know that they can’t take it from him. That’s all I’ll say.
I left inspired and Denzel blows me away as an actor. I just can’t handle it.
If you haven’t seen it, please go see this movie. Worth the $10. Trust me.
