My 2010 New Year Resolutions

PERSONAL
1. Grow into the Word; grow closer to God. Pray regularly, start the day with daily devotion.
2. LISTEN. Wholeheartedly.
3. Grow & progress. Be consistent. When you start something, FINISH it – no matter how hard it is.
4. Work out 4 times a week. EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Including holidays. Lose 5 pounds (or an inch off waist) and KEEP it off.
5. Be the BEST wife ever. Listen, take care, encourage and support your husband through the good and the bad times. Spend quality time together more regularly. Date night once a week. Make him laugh every single day.
6. Cook regularly. Keep fruits and vegetables in the house. Stay away from fried foods and eating out. Drink RIDICULOUS amounts of water.
7. Travel with husband. Take a honeymoon and enjoy it.
8. Spend time with family. Call extended family members monthly.
9. Host Thanksgiving.
10. Spend Christmas with hubby, Mom, Dad and Maya.
11. Strive to be a better Christian, wife, daughter, sister, cousin and friend each day.
12. Paint the house – living room, dining room, kitchen, offices, bathrooms and master bedroom.
13. Turn garage into studio.
14. Read at least one new book EVERY month.
15. Start your day NO LATER than 6am.
16. BE EARLY. (Early = On Time. On Time = Late. Late = Unacceptable.)
17. Mentor young women.
18. Do something you’ve NEVER done before. Go somewhere you’ve never been.
19. Smile and make someone smile each day.
20. LOOK better, DO better, FEEL better…BE better.
21. Volunteer work. Monthly.
22. Grow out hair naturally. (No perms!)

PROFESSIONAL
1. Blog Monday thru Friday. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
2. UTILIZE your social networks – Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, MySpace, etc. Add/attract new followers. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
3. Reach 1 million readers for Mattieologie by Dec. 31, 2010. Reach 250,000 at the end of Q1. 500,000 by Q2. 750,000 by Q3. And 1,000,000 by the end of the year.
4. Successfully launch LiberianGirlOnline.com. Launch and launch party in February. Reach 250,000 readers by the end of the year.
5. Successfully launch Sportstinista.com. Launch in April. Reach 500,000 readers by the end of the year.
6. Hire an awesome intern staff.
7. Promote everywhere from magazines, workshops, college campuses and online.
8. Grow my picture portfolio. Network with photographers. Have a shoot AT LEAST once a month.
9. NETWORK. NETWORK. NETWORK. NETWORK. NETWORK. By the end of Q2, movers and shakers in ATL and the blogosphere should be familiar with who you are. And then utilize your connects.
10. Go out to more events. When you show up, you go up.
11. Make more money.
12. Complete press kit.
13. Get substantial sponsors and capitalize on angel investors.
14. Schedule public speaking appearances and workshops.
15. Find mentor(s).
16. Create successful webshows for each site/brand by Q3. Hire AWESOME film crew. Reach 100,000 views for each show by the end of the year.
17. Finish webshow script at the end of Q2. Find investors, equipment and crew. Hire actors. Get permits, wardrobe, etc and prepare to film in 2011.
18. Develop and launch James Elious radio show. Launch JamesElious.com.
19. Put together regular/weekly event to host by Q3 at Legends.
20. Acquire a Godsend personal assistant by Q3 to make all of this actually happen.

Like yourself. REALLY like yourself. Enough to give yourself everything on this list that you think you deserve. Because you do.
