ULTA will introduce their Essence cosmetic line to the U.S. this summer. The bargain line of colorful cosmetics has been out since 2001 in Germany and has since been introduced to 3 different countries. After seeing the success in other markets, ULTA has decided to bring Essence to the U.S. where they hope – and expect – it will do well. The products range between $.99 to $4.99. Consider this a duo post. Because the above look also wins look of the day. Aside from that it also comes from my favorite collection of Paris Fashion Week, Elie Saab Couture Spring 2010. The Lebanese designer debuted his couture spring efforts on the Paris runway last night. I’m sort of obsessed with it. It has red carpet – particularly the Oscars – written all over it. It’s very flowy, feminine and fantastic. The colors are incredibly soft, but still stand strong enough to make you take notice. The collection as a whole was very sweet. WWD considers it sugary – and I couldn’t have said it better myself.
